Pub Question: What type of connector is this?

This question seemed to stump a few people. This is a MPO connector. It allows the termination of multiple fibers in a single connector. These connectors are often times used when connecting devices at 40/100/400Gbps. It also provides an easy means to run fiber without the need for fusion splicing on connectors. The MPO cables can be combined with MPO to LC cassettes to allow multiple LC connections between two locations.
